Systemic entanglements can take many forms, such as physical or mental disorders, illnesses, stress and anxiety, fears and phobias, dependencies and addictions, sleep or food disorders, conflicts in relationships, difficulty in finding a partner, problems at work or in the choice of a profession; and in children, hyperactivity, aggressiveness, autism, etc.

In Constellations, the entanglement in the system can be clearly seen. Participants come to realize how unresolved dynamics have been affecting them. What was hidden is brought out into the light and so the cause of conflict becomes visible. In this way the participants' perspective expands, and so does their responsibility..

In a professional or business context, a variety of issues can be treated, such as integration processes, mergers and acquisitions, study of brands, products, businesses and services, organizational restructuring, leadership problems, social atmosphere and team motivation, low productivity, clarifying the role of each individual in their workplace, balancing personal and professional life, conflict management, guidance in making decisions, etc.

"When the family has been brought into its natural order, the individual can leave it behind him while still feeling the strength of his family supporting him. Only when the connection to his family is acknowledged, and the person's responsibility seen clearly and then distributed, can the individual feel unburdened and go about his personal affairs without anything from the past weighing him down or holding him back."
